What is a wedding favour and why do we give them?

A wedding favour is an old Italian tradition whereby favours were given to guests as a keepsake of the day. The giving of Wedding Favours to your guests symbolises the brides's acknowledgement of each friend and relative who shares her special day. They are a beautiful thank you and keepsake

What favour should I give?

Tradionally 5 sugared almonds were given, one each to represent health, wealth, happiness, fertility and long life. But these days a variety of different favours are given depending on your preference. The number of favours in a box really depends on the size of box you would like - you can fill to the brim, or use tissue paper to dress the box and then add the favour

What about children's favours?

If you have children attending the wedding, there are childrens favour boxes and bags available that you can order and fill with other things to keep them amused!

How do a place my order on-line?

All you have to do is browse through the categories and click on the items you want. Add the selected items to your shopping bag, and add the quantity that you require. Once you have finished shopping go to the 'make payment' option. We will then ask you to put in your email address and create a password for yourself, this is so we can email you to let you know we have received your order. Then all you have to do is follow the on screen instructions to complete you order

What payment method can I use

The best method of payment is by credit or debit card. If you do not want to pay by either of these, you can pay by cheque by firstly emailing us your order to sales@thefairytaleweddingco.co.uk. We will place your order once your cheque has cleared this can take upto 5 working days after receiving your cheque, but we will inform you once the order has been placed

How far in advance should I order?

This really depends on you and what other plans you have to organise but as a general rule we suggest that you order at least 2/3 months in advance incase the items you want are not in stock. All items that we have in stock will be delivered within 7-10 working days

Do you deliver internationally?

At the moment we only deliver to the UK

How much is postage and packing?

This all depends on the value of the items you have purchased. However, this is all calculated for you once you reach the checkout stage
